The TableAI is building a network of independent specialists for paid projects involving AAVE, annotation, AI evaluation, and cultural language review.
We’re interested in people who can explain meaning, recognize nuance, follow a defined review process, and contribute thoughtful, consistent judgment.
Express InterestExpertise we’re looking for
AAVE language and cultural expertise Deep familiarity with how language operates in particular communities, regions, and contexts—and the ability to explain those distinctions.
Linguistics and sociolinguistics Experience studying language variation, discourse, meaning, or related fields.
Annotation and AI evaluation Experience applying guidelines, reviewing model outputs, labeling data, or assessing quality.
Editorial and dialogue review Experience evaluating voice, tone, characterization, audience, and cultural context.
Quality review Experience checking work, identifying inconsistencies, improving guidelines, and documenting decisions.
Requirements vary by assignment. Some projects may require formal qualifications; others may prioritize demonstrated language expertise and relevant experience.
What participation looks like
Introduce yourself. Share your expertise, relevant experience, preferred work, availability, and rates.
Discuss project fit. When a potential assignment matches your background, we may contact you about its requirements.
Review the terms. Before accepting work, you receive the scope, compensation, payment schedule, expected effort, deadlines, and applicable contribution-use terms.
Choose whether to participate. Each assignment is a separate opportunity with its own agreement.
Compensation
Rates are agreed for each assignment based on the expertise, responsibilities, complexity, and expected effort involved.
You can share your preferred hourly or project rate when expressing interest.
If an assessment is required, we will explain its purpose and compensation terms beforehand. Client production work is paid work.
Current status
We are accepting expressions of interest for future independent contract opportunities.
Joining the network does not guarantee an assignment, minimum hours, or employment. Assignments depend on signed client projects and specialist fit.
